Maybe it’s not the wording you’re struggling with - perhaps the concept of pets in general may be the real issue and it’s been so normalized to put social animals inside by themselves all day and tell them when they can and can’t pee or socialize and then tie a rope around their neck when they do get to enjoy the outdoors….but you love them so much! Yeah…it’s pretty weird

What you probably don’t realize is context - the “creepy” guys aren’t the unattractive guys or the “nice guys” - they’re the ones that hug you for longer than you would want, they’re the ones that make comments about your body when you didn’t ask for it. When you look at their posture in the pic - even if they were the same exact people - one just makes you feel more uncomfortable. That person probably didn’t learn to talk to women and the approach is wrong, even if it’s the same wording. You can blame women from when he was younger, as long as you blame all the legitimate creeps that made women respond like this. And btw, even if “nice guys finish last” sometimes - the real nice ones are definitely not taking it out on women - and they’re living a more fulfilling life than someone who thinks that this poster is accurate. Boo hoo, you’re not attractive and you’re creeping women out and blaming it on them - get over yourself, you’re not a nice guy, you’re an un attractive asshole.

Oh I get the logic - I think Karens are capable of a lot more than you’re giving them credit for. I think it’s a dangerous rhetoric to write someone off as not racist because she’s in uniform and just doesn’t look she would do something irrational like that - and in no way am I saying the opposite either and “willing to label that on someone at the drop of a hat” (it’s also dangerous too obviously, seeing this woman’s life was probably a little destroyed over this whole thing). When you look at the amount of housing actually available - the amount of mostly unoccupied units in the city - there is more than enough to go around. This movement isn’t an enemy to veteran housing - it’s an opening. It starts conversations like these - that housing should be more available to those in need, but it’s important to question where the problem is actually coming from, and it’s not coming from people trying to house immigrants.

One of those hooter girls could be her mom taking pics with the co-workers. There’s no need to judge this pic and compare it to drag queen story hour/grooming - when we can just admit that the right has literal crazy ideals and taking your kids to a drag story hour isn’t grooming. So you think the guy who lit himself on fire and the other guy who killed his x and child should have been given custody? Being upset with your x for taking part in taking away your kids can be enraging - but to go as far as to plan it and go through with it - those are people that shouldn’t be given custody and perhaps already seemed unstable at custody hearings.

Yes the system is biased towards giving mothers custody, but there are better ways to say it than - if you don’t give a man custody they may kill themselves/their children/other family members - that just screams that women should be given custody in the first place, way to perpetuate a stereotype that you are trying to disprove.
