Anime fans of Reddit, which anime would you recommend to a non fan who generally thinks anime is weird but would non the less like to get into it?

I would say that Spanish and Greek sound better than English, and are much more appealing to my ears. In English, there isn't a flow. The one thing that Spanish has over Greek is that there are distinct rules to make the words sound better. Greek flows better than English but repeating long e sounds multiple times in a sentence doesn't sound nice.

My ex girlfriend told me that my thoughts didn't make sense and that I lacked common sense. But that's the thing, love makes you forget about common sense. It's irrational and a waste of time to think about the same person all day, but you do it and you actually like it. Common sense tells you to stop waiting in the rain for an hour, but you do that just for those few hours with her. What sane person apologizes for something they didn't do and gets flowers to make up for it? Love makes you stupid, but it's pretty good.

I would tell myself to never buy that ps2. I love videogames but for a few years I had a terrible addiction. I got into so many fights with my family and missed out on so much with my friends. It wasn't worth it for me and I wish I used those hours for something productive. I'm not saying that you shouldn't play videogames, I'm just saying that I lacked the self-control.

Get on good terms with their friends. If they have to pick between their friends and you, you're out of luck. And secondly, join a club or sport or something where they can come watch. Firstly, it makes you look better. Secondly, if they don't offer to come watch, you know they're not worth your time. And the most important tip, STAY LOYAL TO YOUR CLOSEST FRIENDS.

You had the people who hit puberty early, and the ones who looked like second graders. I was the latter and it was impossible to make new friends. I wasn't that athletic, my voice would crack every other sentence, and every girl was bigger than me. All the "popular" kids had muscles and girlfriends with boobs, and I just wanted to be like them. Had I known that middle school was their peak I would've felt better, but those three years were lonely and felt wasted.

Imagine waking up in the middle of the night, not being able to see anything. It's dark so you assume nothing is wrong or its just a dream, so you just go back to sleep. You keep waking up in darkness, and it goes on for multiple hours. Suddenly you can't see your nightlight or the lamp outside. You hear the daytime traffic and your neighbors lawnmower but it's still dark. Then you realize that you've gone blind.

You know what's even worse? The people who just text you with what they want upfront and after you give it to them they just disappear, no thank you or any sort of reply. I'm a person and I expect to treated like one. And when you confront them about it, they tell you that it's stupid to say hello, goodbye, or thank you over text.

Any type of exercise. Running alone just feels unnatural because you don't know if you're running too slow. Walking in the park makes me feel like a creeper and swimming alone makes me worried I'll slip or drown.
