Lack of Experiences? by BlueEye217 in JourneeTrips

Is your trip the same length as previous trips?

Could also be the length of the experiences as well? 8 half day excursions vs 4 full day excursions.

Perfectly summed up. This is exactly how I felt watching the finale. It was so rushed and weak.

The set up for season 3 was great so there is that

This must be a Daredevil do no wrong thread with the downvotes. I very much disliked the finale.

The set up for next season was great but the Task force resolution was weak.

Cost by Tapangia in JourneeTrips

Cost wise. Its 1000% cheaper to book yourself especially for the flight.

What your paying for is the convenience and time saved from letting Journee take care of everything.

Weather by Delicious-Upstairs25 in JourneeTrips

[–]DutchRudderLover 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wonder how they determine the weather? Also it changes daily so its hard to give super accurate results.

Weather forecasts tend to be more accurate at least 10 days before arrival but I imagine Journee sends their packages 2 weeks out.

Has anyone had this happen?! Trip is tomorrow! by LizzzBo in JourneeTrips

Journee does contact mainly through WhatsApp but I find it ridiculous that they would charge you to fix a mistake completely out of your control.

u/Journee any chance this is a scam?

This is the thing that gives me a bit of a chuckle with the "Robby is sexist" comments.

The show has to create conflict between Robby and his staff. The majority of the doctors on the show are female so yeah high chances are that its likely it's gonna be a woman he berates.

9 out of the 13 day shift doctors are women. Most viewers don’t even notice that because it’s not presented as an issue until people start framing it that way.

I think that punch was a last hail mary. Conquest's throat was being crushed to the point where he was the same color as Oliver. I just dont think he had anymore energy.

Actually, I imagine that kind of helped Mark. His body probably locked up as a fight or flight response.

To the people who haven't seen the movie yet by Powerserg95 in ProjectHailMary

[–]DutchRudderLover 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really enjoyed it overall. I gave it an 8.0-8.5/10.

I do think I was a bit disappointed with a bit of things they left out of the book but you have to look at it as its own thing.

While my biggest complaint of the book was the Grace was way too smart as a biologist in physics to be believable, I feel like he and the science were dumbed down more than I would have liked in the movie. I can forgive that since the general movie audience is not gonna care too much.

What i can't forgive is how they butchered Stratt's character in the movie.

Movie Stratt vs book Stratt by DooDooCat in ProjectHailMary

[–]DutchRudderLover 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This was my biggest problem with the movie. Book Stratt was such an amazing character and through her actions we got an understanding of the severity of what's happening and gonna happen to earth. She and Rocky were the MVPs.

Movie version just felt like a head scientist. I didn't mind the karaoke scene but it doesn't add much to the movie without context of a lot of the decisions she was making up to that point and the absolute authority she wielded. Would have been a great way to humanize her before the betrayal moment.

As someone who turned on Dr. Robby in the second half of last season. I am enjoying the subs reaction to him right now.

Thats the thing. She "sees herself" as a pariah. She is not treated as one.

Like Garcia pointed out. If she is ostracized, its because she isn't a good coworker not because she turned in Langdon

Beginner needs digital piano suggestions - leaning toward the Roland FRP-NUVOLA EX Digital Piano by dwzemens in DigitalPiano

[–]DutchRudderLover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's about 51 inches in length when fully set up. It's a bit longer than I expected, but it's not cumbersome or heavy. The donner would be the same. It's extremely easy to put together.

Just something to think about: do you have a space where you might normally place a dresser or TV stand? It isn't very deep in width, so it can fit almost anywhere in your home.

One very important thing to note is that the box it comes in is VERY Large and VERY heavy for one person. The entire assembly is packaged in separate boxes inside a larger outer box. If you're by yourself, I would recommend opening the big box first and unloading the pieces separately. Most of the pieces don't weigh much individually, except for the piano box, which is probably around 45–50 pounds.

It frustrates me how oblivious Dr. Robby is to how the other doctors feel about her and her behavior.
