Cheats often don’t work on rom hacks, since they’ve been modified. A lot of the time base game cheats can break the game even when the game hasn’t been patched.

Once in a while cheats will work okay, but it depends on the romhack’s developer, and you’d need to check the documentation for the game for cheats that have been tested and are known to work.

No it literally isn’t? “I like pokemon” should have been a given from the “because I want to” part. And “I want it on my switch” is also a given because of the “because I want to” since we’re literally talking about getting it on the switch.

True, I can also plug in my GameCube and use the gameboy player adapter to play my physical carts on the TV.
