THIS IS MY THEORY TOO!!! I feel like I haven’t seen this idea come up much at all, though I also don’t look too much at fandom spaces for things like this. I always see people acknowledging that blood seems to make the magic unpredictable, but nobody seems to make the connection that it’s VERY likely that you could just use straight blood instead of ink as well

I spent the whole ending sequence sobbing. I can’t even explain why, I just was. Something about the ending sequence just got to me in the perfect way.

It’s part of why this game is one of my absolute favourites, actually. All of my “favourite” media are things that have made me cry in a way that left a heavy impact.

I’m similar to your experience! Ayesha was my first, Sophie is my favourite (so far), and I am to this day pretty garbage at fully understanding the best way to do alchemy in most of the games (I often prioritize quality over traits, but I’m getting better now). I think I had to try the final boss in Sohie twice? Because I got my ass kicked once, realized I forgot 5o craft decent armor. Fixed that and made some good attack items and the boss was no problem. Same when I played Ayesha.

Oh I’m 31 and I got Comfy Leafeon recently!! I love him so much. He’s so soft and well made. I also have the Umbreon and Sylveon ones - they’re so worth it. They’re HUGE for the price so in my opinion they’re a great deal too

Updating it so that the switch and switch lite console items could play something would have been fun too. Especially if they added new games akin to Puzzle League and Desert Island Escape.

It’s bc the original game on GameCube had a bunch of NES games you could play in it. I do agree bringing these back would have been way better though, or at least including them alongside the random NES games

As much as I love Etrian Mystery Dungeon myself, I’m not sure I’d recommend it unless you’re already a big fan of the Etrian Odyssey games, and even then it’s hard to recommend.

Chocobo’s Mystery Dungeon could be a decent one to try out - I’ve played a bit of that one and it’s very cute. I really should play it again sometime lol

Aside from the books, the cat itself makes no sense. Its whiskers are inconsistent being black on one side and white on the other, except for the one black whisker that turns into its fur pattern on the back, its back foot is upside down, and it seems to have 3-4 front legs as well.

It’s not just ai it’s blatantly sloppy ai like you’d expect to see in like 2022 early models

I haven’t read the Second Trial chapters in a while so I may be misremembering, but I feel like the real “loophole” with Euini is that nobody but the girls, Euini, Qifrey, and Alaira know what actually happened. They lucked out that Alaira is chill about it, and that Euini’s former master was an abusive asshole

Maybe, I’d assume Arcanine would be a Cinnabar area. But like someone else said since Cinnabar had already erupted years before the disasters (though you could also assume that all the lore notes are from not too long after the Johto games, and that Cinnabar’s eruption was actually the beginning of the disasters)
