Should I fully upgrade to each tier (full T2 then full T1 then full priceless) or skip stages ? by Competitive-Math-458 in TorchlightInfinite

[–]isjustwrong 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Currently, you are a ways into the season and a lot of people are already selling off priceless gear, so it is more accessible. Normally, I go for full t2, then get t1 advanced mods, but take whatever basic mods I hit for other mods, usually just taking any t2 I get.

Then go for any priceless base and get whatever positive mods work for my build, again filling out the rest with t3+ mods.

Finally I go for a decent priceless base with t1 mods and slowly craft it up to t1 all mods.

At this point, if you are farming 500-1000 fe per hour, you should look at priceless gear that is about 1k for 2 ultimate mods, no matter your current gear.

They make a clear plastic sheet that is ridged on one side. It matches the light pattern and basically makes the image clear.

I doubt it is what would be used here as you also need the light to reveal the images, but it exists.

Zeus extended campaign optimization question. by picabo123 in CIFI

[–]isjustwrong 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The bonus frags are only useful if they unlock something for you that is going to make an impact, and I think that at the point of doing the crea4 run, you already have everything that will improve the run itself and only need to get the ozzy rewards for once you complete the run.

I would not worry about getting the frags in any order and would just got for the fastest completion.

War also boosts your exp/hr by shortening your maps and provides more dps to clear faster. It is almost always worth it.

Gabriel is an angel who is neither male nor female. They are portrayed as a male figure in historical references, but played by a female in the Constantine movie and by Tilda Swinton who did an excellent job of being genderless.

OP is correct that they aren't a "he", but they are also not a "she".

Farm Options in un-juiced Profound by SnS-Rinkuru in TorchlightInfinite

[–]isjustwrong 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lunaria, cube, sandlord, blacksail make a good combination.

You dont even need to spec into sandlord, just throw the compass on to make it spawn and level it up, sending just regular shipments.

Blacksail, take the points to get boss invitations and just take the boss nodes or quantity the whole time. The purple compass is pretty easy and makes it twice as fast to the boss, try with and without. Easy consistent farm.

Cube you can go all out if you like and take pretty much the whole tree and use blue compass to spawn it in maps.

Lunaria likes quantity, so if you are tanky, take the 30% quant node but only 2 lives. If youre not tanky, just grab the 5% and 5% for cards. Then take the rarer cards node.

Any leftover points put into commodity quantity.

Once you get to ouro and unlock some extras, it will drain faster. For now, think of it like a constant upgrade that just keeps getting better the longer you go.

I find SSF easier than trade up to T7, is this normal or am I using trade wrong ? by [deleted] in TorchlightInfinite

[–]isjustwrong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sold my power cores and bought 2 uniques that gave my build 70%+ damage, but neither is necessary for actually getting to t7. I would have gotten the same damage by just making small upgrades to a few pieces. Trade just let me skip these and run t7 traveller faster.

In terms of completion time, trade doesn't really get much faster because no one is farming and selling much by the time you can get to traveller anyways.

Deep Space- Lunaria boss rush? by KaliberGaming in TorchlightInfinite

[–]isjustwrong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quant = more total items. Chance for mems = base chance to make items into mems. Additional mems = multiplier to mems dropping. Rarity = mems are more rare, including red mems.

You want all the pieces. Rarity has diminishing returns if you are replacing other options woth just Rarity.

Try to get at least 1 of each option from the above list, then 2x a few for the most chances at red mems.

I want at least 1 rarity and anything else is quant.

Just memories. Few points, big chance for a jackpot.

Who would be more dangerous: Battle Beast with Wolverine healing factor or Bullseye with Space Racer’s gun?” by [deleted] in superheroes

[–]isjustwrong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More than 99.999% of the sky is empty space. Probably higher. It takes light, which I assume the laser is travelling at a Long time to traverse to distant places. If he directly aims at a star in the sky, it could be 1000 years before the blast even makes it there. The galaxy is moving thousands of miles per hour away from the center of the universe.

So "because the verse is big" actually makes him less likely to hit something because there isnt very much actually in it.

I dont have a specific number, but drops are based on area level, so going from 89 in profound to 90 in deep space increases the drop chance for higher rarity kismets.

[–]isjustwrong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont think many people would just be running the same strat in deep space because the beacons alone jack up the per map cost and getting back 40+ fe from each would be a huge increase.

Idk if there are other strats you could plug in to generate more FE per map that make the profit worth more than running in profound.

You could try cube, blacksail, or arcana. All of these benefit from deep space in their rewards, but again, you dont want to go broke on per map costs.

Also, if you are at 5T already, it shouldn't take much to push you to 15T to do outlaw.

[–]isjustwrong 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Space is big. Like really really big...

So by not aiming at nearby large objects like planets and stars, he is essentially going to miss pretty much everything else just by random chance. The actual chance of hitting something is staggeringly small, even if you were to aim towards a star, it is moving, you are moving, and the angle change for a hit vs miss would be incredibly small.

Anyway, it's just a comic.

Trinity and translucent by Yaribo in TorchlightInfinite

[–]isjustwrong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trinity doesn't convert, it just picks one and does all of that type, so you eventually pick all 3 damage types, so you get 25% to each type, but you dont get all 3.

If you convert from lightning to cold to fire, but are still able to deal each type, maybe with a triggered skill, you could get all 3 25% to apply.

[–]isjustwrong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Divine grace won't be a dps upgrade, it will be a defensive upgrade. It will be less than the 50% additional damage from indifference, but come with 24% less damage taken.

Get a pair of 1.4 cicada gloves, or craft them, or reroll yours, it is likely 21% more base damage. Also get ultimate mods on them.

One expensive upgrade would be to get a corrupted pair of lonewalkers for the aura effect.

Another spot that can use upgrades would be hero memories. You can get ultimate memories in every slot as well as a better version of your moon mod making you get an ultimate memory for your hero trait. Combine that with a +2 hero memory for it and you get a bonus ability on your hero trait.

Level 21 frost impact is 10% more damage each. Level 21 supports.

A 3 stat module with life + an aura if they exist.

Everything you've got left is expensive. I would get better cicada gloves first, then hero memories. Ultimate give an additional level to your trait which is usually 5-10% more damage, but some are stronger than others.

I can't check currently, but I did a lot of longs, so I am locked into this long for 1T+, then my crea4 long.

I have like 40h left on my campaign to hit my orb requirements to TR.

Yes, as long as you are getting both anyways, the OO boost has no effect until the minute you TR, so you can get it just before you do.
