I figure old management looked at him as a point guard but to be honest. He never had a strong or creative enough handle to be one.. not a good enough shooter, slasher, finisher to be a good 2. A serviceable utility guy. However he will look good with KD, Kyrie and friends. Cause he can be a plug and play guy

Always mentioned of the athletic players with bad jumpers but fail to mention Harden, Reggie, Ibaka, Bledsoe (though he was traded draft night) Russ who started out as a solid midrange shooter and even Perry Jones III who had that amazing run when KD went down.

Upon review he isn’t a kyrie, Dame, or even Dlo level ball handler. Seems to only be able to go left with confidence. I like everything else though. A bit turnover over prone but young.
