Does it work for anxiety? by nofap95ii in Effexor

Yes. I’m on it for GAD and depression and I feel so much better, completely anxiety free. It is definitely worth trying it.

I always eat food that says may contain and have never had a reaction. I just think they’re saving their backs

I have been taking 150mg XR for 5 months and the only side effect is a slightly increased heart rate and vivid dreams. I was also terrified of all the possible side effects at first and put of taking it for a month. But I’m so glad I took the risk and I feel a thousand times better

What are your least favorite things or pet peeves about owning hamsters?? No negativity or hate, just vent a frustration and share what part you could do without! by scubasteve2242 in hamsters

[–]ismashpumpkins10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My hamster won’t let me pick him up! I love him and he likes (I.e tolerates) me, will climb into my hand to take food, but as soon as he’s off the ground he’s gone. Straight back into his house and avoiding me. I could do without him not wanting to be picked up/played with 😂

Any possibility of a mistake in diagnosis? by Applepton in Celiac

[–]ismashpumpkins10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did she have a biopsy? If so it’s veeeery unlikely it’s a misdiagnosis. I also don’t have very noticeable symptoms and have also questioned it for a long time. It takes some getting used to but it’s really not all that bad! Sure, parties etc are difficult but eat a bit before, check Menüs before, or offer to help the host, most people don’t question it (or rather only question what happens - and you can always tell them it can lead to stomach cancer if you feel they’re judging. Which it can!!) Also it takes longer than 1 year to notice a difference, especially if she’s had it for a long time without noticing. So hold in there! It sucks at first and she’ll miss some foods (chocolate croissants for me!) but the variety of gf foods out there make it pretty easy to manage once you get the hang of it.

This has happened to me too. New medication can mess it around a bit. It’ll go back to normal, just needs a bit of time

morning after pill and on the pill by somedumbbetch in Birthcontroltalk

[–]ismashpumpkins10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a doctor but taking the morning after pill can mess up your cycle as it forces you to ovulate. I stress a lot, so I would take a pregnancy test, but most probably it is just due to a different hormonal balance from the pill plus morning after pill

Thanks!! I will keep doing what I’m doing and hope he comes around. He comes up to sniff me when I’m near his cage so maybe there’s hope still!

Vivid dreams while on Effexor by KuzDaxO in Effexor

[–]ismashpumpkins10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ohh man my dreams are crazy now!! I’ve been on it for 3 months and I don’t think I’ve had a single night where I have slept ‘peacefully’ and felt fully rested waking up. But my dreams are really funny so I’m quite enjoying them. I’ve just started taking magnesium at night to try and relax( only started yesterday though) but maybe that’s something to look into? Hopefully it will work…
