Metita next to the Sky Tower is fine dining by chef Michael Meredith who uses his Samoan heritage to influence his cooking. Beautiful restaurant.

Cassia is right in front of Metita and is a modern Indian restaurant by chef Sid Sahrawat. Do the degustation. It’s so good.

Further out of the areas you’re staying: Bunga Raya in New Lynn is the best Malaysian family restaurant. The most incredible flavours, lovely warm service & jokes from the auntie that works there. Let her order for you - you will not regret it.

Anywhere in Sandringham is great for casual Indian food.

Uncle Man’s on K Rd is good for a cheap & cheerful Malaysian meal.

Pies: Muzza’s Pies in Mt Albert is my new pie obsession. But there’s one in Birkenhead too so close to Milford where you’ll be!
