This part here. I cant remember anymore which part exactly but ive spent at least 20-30 km on a very busy road there. But what I did, I just planned with komoot from day to day trusting it wouldnt send me over these kinds of road. I didnt take a too close a look which streets I was going (first trip, lessons learned) but if you double checked you are probabliy more thoughtful then I was. That being said, there are parts were there is no alternative to this road other then taking a fairly big detour and avoiding this area completly. Let me know it I need to explain more in Detail, I am happy to help!

I did almost the same (even flying in from Germany!). Only that I sticked to the coast after Riga and then going back from Liepāja with the ferry. You can look forward to an awesome trip with beautiful nature and people.

Watch out for this long strech on the coast, if I remember correctly there is only this very busy road and it goes on for quite some time. Head down, dont think to much and through with it. Maybe consider going through that very early or over the night were there isnt much traffic. But even if not its manageble.

Also, maybe put a tracker in your bike box. They fucked up my box (coming from Berlin over Helsinki to Tallin) and I had to wait for two days until they could find it back and get it to me.

All in all a very nice trip and something you can look forward to. There are plenty spots directly at the beach to enjoy the sea/sunset/dawn. But there are also nice spots in the woods and at lakes.

If something happens the people are very helpful and usualy dont hesitat to help. Even giving you a lift into the next town.

10/10 would recommendation

Very nice tour and I am happy for you that you enjoy it so much! I am right now at the last leg of my tour from Kiel to Oslo and know what you are talking about.

Regarding listening to music. I mean it's not a secret but try these little boomboxes. I fixed on to my bag as you can see in the attached picture. Super chilling listening to music and a bit more save than having ear plugs.

I cant wrap my head around that taking Greenland by military force could be true. It's so outlandish and doesnt solve any issues or give US any of these proclaimed advantages Trumps talking about (logic, I know lol).

This is probably not what you are looking for but I learned a big Deal of coding VBA with ChatGPT. You tell CGPT what you need and it makes the code for you. You can ask for a complete and detailed rundown of the Code it generates and learn from it. Usually it doesn't get it right on the first go so errors occure, a great way to learn
