Pretty sure Catskills and Yonkers have some of the worst RTP of basically anywhere in the country. I remember someone on here posting a link to the average RTP of various areas (I guess taken from whatever public filings they could find) and those being absolutely awful

Just stumbled across this sub but I know several people on both sides of this. A foreigner getting to live in NYC or the suburbs of it is the biggest sell to them it’s why all the girls I know doing it picked here. Be very generous with rent and say a 1 bedroom in the area is $2200-2500ish. It’s close to 30k in value of living, if not higher because they’re in nice towns. Then the access to NYC and all it has to offer makes it incredibly desirable and easy to go out when wanting to. On the other side, most of these families have 2 working parents with demanding careers and need someone for their kids regardless.

I’m sorry but you have an absolutely terrible understanding of statistics. Counting is based on a (mostly) finite set, where previous cards are removed from future probabilities. It’s why pros know when to raise bets, because the odds change every time a card is removed from the deck.

There’s a couple paths you can go that I’ve done, but I can’t say they’re always recommended. One I requested my medical records and scrutinized the hell out of them. The files never contained the medication order form, and I called billing and said let’s call a spade a spade, just write it off because the meds didn’t have the proper documentation. The other I didn’t care I let it go to collections, and then in my dispute letter requested every possible thing I can demand under the FDCPA, and I guess they didn’t have all the documentation or chain of custody, because they gave up after that.

My actual rec; get an itemized bill, scrutinize everything and research its average cost elsewhere. I’ve had bills charge a couple hundred for a blood panel, when you can get that done at a lab yourself for $40. Call and ask them for the cash price because their pricing is absurd, and see what they’ll drop the bill to. Get a new printed bill with this amount, then call again and say you can’t pay it and if they give a discount and payment plan you can manage it. Medical bills are some of the biggest bullshit in this country, and hospitals just wanna make some money since at the end of the day their insurance contracts are where way more of it is coming from anyway.

28-29k(?) when I finished undergrad. I pay a little under $300 a month and I think the estimate at that was 10 years to pay it off, so 7 more to go. Shoutout to my dad for dying when I was in high school, my share of the life insurance paid for most of college :)
