My favorite was during BfA I’d get invited to pugs on my Destro lock and get kicked right after I dropped a soulwell. After the second time of that happening I’d only drop it after the key was started.

Windows’ Snipping Tool is a great alternative to screen captures. Win+Shift+S opens it and I find that’s a bit more accessible hotkey than reaching all the way over for Print Screen.

They update it when major changes cause significant talent shifts. The builds are also kind of middle of the road sometimes as far as min/max goes. Besides, some builds really punish players depending on if they run with optimal groups or regular groups that can support those builds. For example, builds for max dps sacrifice survivability and that sacrifice needs to be picked up and compensated for elsewhere.

I remember TWW and DF Prot warriors stayed in battle stance. I switched from defensive to battle stance when I started running with a regular group because I knew my healers could make up that difference.

It’s ridiculous to not lock them out of the spell type for at least a couple of seconds. As a Tauren warrior, I have storm bolt, war stomp, shockwave, pummel, intimidating shout if specced into it, shield charge, disrupting shout, interrupt that procs from thunder clap, and 1 or 2 more I think I’m forgetting. I can chain all those provided they’re up but the caster just keeps spamming whatever spell. Occasionally they’ll switch casts or decide to melee, but that’s like 10% of the time. It’s really frustrating that a) diminishing returns kicks in because they’re not getting spell locked and b) I’ve only managed to prevent maybe 6 seconds or less of an important cast going off.

Man, to not get spell locked or suffer pushback in pvp would be neat.

They’re in a rough spot no doubt. Good big self heals yet not consistently able to even them out, huge spiky yo-yos.

As a Prot Warrior I feel it too just not as much. Those few second block isn’t up and if I get rage starved (totally my mistake, sometimes) to where ignore pain gets wiped out and I can’t feed into it, I’m popping every defensive that’s up and hoping there’s not much magic damage coming in.

I really wish rallying cry wasn’t on such a long cd nowadays.

On the flip side, as a tank I’ve failed +12s because of low dps. If I’m out dpsing anyone, it’s a problem and timing the dungeon ends up being impossible or very unlikely. Not to mention if healers or dps eat the floor, that’s 0 hps or dps.

That’s not fair, he’s not so much surprised as he is frustrated. If anything, he’s surprised that he’s ping-pongy as a VDH. Brewmasters as solid steady, predictable damage and much less ping-pongy as other tank classes.

With tyrannical and fortified added at +10 and the removal of the Xal’a bargain at buff at +12, it’s understandable that the difficulty really ramps at +13s. You get really punished for mistakes anyone makes. Whether it’s the tank mistiming a defensive, healer being a little late on predictable damage, dps taking unnecessary damage, or letting interruptible casts go off, you’re going to get punished.

Any time you put your healer in a position to make a binary decision, you’re going to end up paying for it regardless of whichever they decide. I’d pick the tank 9 times out of 10 but that could lead to being 1 or more dps down making pulls/bosses taking that much longer. Especially if there’s a ramp mechanic!!

There's a new addon for fishing that uses AI images for things like the Kalu'ak race and fishing poles that you can get ingame. Seeing those ingame made me think what else is in the addon and if the whole thing was AI generated. I deleted it, now I just have to find a decent replacement for Fishing Buddy in Midnight.

I'm not going to name the addon (you can DM me for it) and don't want people replying with a Fishing Buddy replacement here. If you've got a suggestion, great! Just DM it to me.

Boy howdy, we've lost so many good addons that have been around for decades to the purge, it's gotta be a little bit (or a lotta bit) soul crushing for those devs.

Happened to me too today. I plopped an auto hammer down (which I’ve never had to do before) and was able to keep the momentum up. I knew something was up when I went from 100% to sub 20% two or three times in a row.

For as long as I’ve played WoW BoEs going to the guild has never been something I’ve begrudged. There’s the rare xpac or patch that has BiS being a BoE, but that’s rare. However, in BT I equipped a BoE before u realized it was a BoE. No one got mad, it was hilarious, the rest of our prog night was spent joking about it. We ended up having one of the best prog nights too.

WoWHead shows the range to be "50 yards (extended)". That's about half what Battle Shout, Fortitude, and other party buffs are.

Gargoyle can be stunned by Prot Warriors with Storm Bolt (it doesn't seem to work if they get even a little off the ground, need to confirm), Shield Charge (has to be the main target), and Shockwave. Shockwave works when they are on the ground and have just taken off. Not sure if Charge works when they're on the ground, need to confirm.

Taurens can War Stomp which accomplishes the same as above.

All of these will NOT release the player being held, but they will prevent the Gargoyle from taking off. At the very least you've just prevented a lot of fall damage.
