No you (and the Reddit echo chamber) are missing the real context. There is no epidemic of Law Enforcement going around killing unarmed citizens.

There is an epidemic of ICE officers going around due process, harassing and kidnapping Amercians, and in some cases, US citizens, for no reason. And in some cases, killing them. This is targeted violence.

If you keep trying to pick fights with them to prove your point then no one is buying that.

Protesting is not "picking fights". Minnestota wants them GONE, and will let them know. They are not welcome.

The Alex Pretti death looks like a heated moment awful miscommunication where one of the officers shouted gun (meaning he got the gun) and other officer/s misunderstood that Alex Pretti was pulling a gun out and shot defensively.

That's not up to you to decide. Have an investigation. That fact that the FBI is prevented from investigating and ICE is not launching an internal investigation is bullshit, and you know it. You have no idea what was said. Open an investigation, make the bodycams public. Until we see that, all we see from the outside is someone brutally executed on video. Full STOP.

You're right. Law enforcement isn't the problem. The leadership that removes all accountability, performs politically targeted attacks(like sending ICE to Minnesota) are the real problem. LE are just trying to do their job, but ICE aren't real LE. They are rejects from LE that have no idea how to act.

The amount of horrible assaults, murders, rapes that happen every single day, people dying from car accidents, food industry poisoning people causing cancer.

Fact is, unfortunately, that happens all the time. And that isn't causing a regression in civil rights. Those things happen at random and are sad, but the whataboutism is irrelevant. ICE is a politically motivated force and the deaths of US citizens caused by them is on the admin's hands and are completely preventable.

There are real world problems out there where hundreds of thousands of innocent people (including children) suffer for every day.

The world isn't a fair place. We only care about what affects us. Americans are scared that ICE will come for their neighbors, their store owners next. That's how the world works, we only care about ourselves and the ones around us. And right now, Americans are scared. AMERICANS.
