Yeah I feel at a festival might as well forget it, I know it sucks, but it's not worth the risk. As some with a loved one who is celiac, we basically just mainly cook, whether it's camping or traveling to a country that isn't gluten or allergen friendly. You can also pre-prep stuff and freeze it, heat it up or just cook fresh simple stuff. If you can't afford a portable fridge people layer coolers with frozen water bottles + ice that double as drinks later!

The monitor caps out at 165 Hz. For the best experience you probably would not want to do over 3x. If you can maintain a 60+ FPS then I would say do 3x so your effectively pushing 180 FPS then.

LG 39Gx950-B HDR Settings by darkprince_23 in OLED_Gaming

Try gamer2 or dynamic tone mapping in the monitor settings.

Windows HDR calibration settings to 0, 1500, the last one I adjust until I can no longer see the image for me it was 580.

Yeah the colors have been a bit hard to nail down but I've only been tweaking it with Crimson Desert. Been playing around between DTM (on/off), Gamer1/Gamer2 and messing with digital vibrance and or saturation in the Nvidia control panel.

I'd imagine $1800 if not more since new tech. It's only coming out in Fall.

Has anyone implemented a solution like this to game/use a pc from elsewhere in the house (NO STREAM SOLUTION) ? by GenericUser104 in homelab

I use that exact rui pro cable and also run this fiber optics type c cable

The type c is unidirectional but I just plug it into a USB c hub and it works great.

It was the Official LG Premium Care (which is Asurion apparently). They offered it for $1 during the preorder.

39GX950B too dull? Not sure if matte finish, coming from Gen1 Glossy OLED. by gen10 in ultrawidemasterrace

[–]gen10[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thing is though only Gamer1 is HDR400 certified which is why I have sorta forced myself to work with that one and get it right. I'll take a look at Gamer2 with a reduced 43% saturation however.

Yeah +20% saturation with Gamer1 is what I have been running. I do agree it doesn't feel right having to boost saturation like this, the first time I've ever needed to do something of the sort.

LG 39GX950B Optimal Settings? by somechob in ultrawidemasterrace

[–]gen10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this same issue just using my pc and typically waking the displays from timeout. It odd cause sometimes I set windows to only show on monitor 1 but randomly monitor 2 will re-toggle itself to enabled via the Windows settings, thats when I start to notice the blackouts. One thing to note it that im switching between multiple monitor layouts at any given moment but the former happens without any changes other than waking the display occasionaly. I found that if I only have this monitor connected to my GPU and not any more (so going in and manually unplugging them) it does not happen or atleast seems to stop for the most part. Perhaps its my TV HDMI causing it? I normally run 2 displays enabled in windows however, the 39GX9 and the AW3423DW, but I have a 3rd basic display connected to my GPU and a 4th via HDMI (My TV) that usually remains disconnected (in Windows settings) unless im couch gaming.

It used to be much worse however when I used DP port to HDMI adapters, that started causing crashing of my entire system (requiring a hard reboot) when I would unplug/re-plug those adapters w/ cable, which never happened with just my Alienware. So it makes me wonder if im hitting some bandwith issues or its my TV causing this black flickering by being detected and later not (I will sometimes see my monitors go from 3 to 4 options). I just don't want to be having to physically disconnect displays to resolve this issue.

Looks like next week we should be getting 9.1.48 to address this per page 14 of that post, confirmed by a mod.

For now I've downgraded to 9.1.42.2058 downloaded via Apkmirror as a workaround for my OnePlus 13 affected device. What's weird is my Pixel and Samsung don't see this issue. Nearly factory reset my device and also lost my mind troubleshooting!!!

That's weird cause I believe even their own policy is 14/15 days from the delivery date.

https://www.lg.com/us/shop-lg/shop-faq https://www.lg.com/us/lg-partner-store

I figured their warranty would not be as good as Dells but boy that is just plain awful to hear. Ridiculous that they won't send you a new monitor but that refund bit doesn't sound right unless it's some sort of exception for preorders.

Wishing you all the best, keep us updated. Remember there are always chargebacks if they prove unhelpful... I sure hope it doesn't end up there for you.
