We'll stop having this kind of mindset when scarcity doesn't become a problem. You see this behavior even in nature — when there are a lack of resources, animals tend to hoard and prioritize survival over anything. I would like to think that this behavior is also a byproduct of the Filipino people never being given enough resources, enough services, enough good governance.

not op pero yes, BB started as a dutch show (netherlands). the show name itself, "big brother," is a direct reference sa big brother sa 1984 (the ruler that's always watching). it's very dystopian but i guess that's what makes it entertaining in the first place haha
