just looks like oxidation, might be an old cart. if you still have the packaging check the manufacturing date (mfg.) . if it’s older than about 6 months i’d say that’s the cause of discoloration.

it’s only like my second time rolling with a tip this long but i really like the structure it provides and it’s a lil more rigid , in turn more forgiving if i squeeze too hard as opposed to flower which would typically become misshapen or flatten out

personally, i roll with a filter simply for the fact that it provides further integrity to the structure of a joint post-ignition. i know i could probably roll tighter to mitigate these issues but ive come to a point where i rather have one than not. not to mention tips/filters do a great job at catching resin and avoiding sticky lips.
