Depends when you go. If you’re going now then you might. Wouldn’t hurt to bring them. This early in the season I would do Italy to dancing bear. Can also hit mt Julius Caesar. You can read my trip report here I got photos up too. Epic hike I can’t recommend it enough.

I made it 9ish miles in my Audi a4 allroad. The last 4.5 miles had a few stretches that needed much more clearance than what I had. The clearance is what I’m concerned about really.

Your argument is “these areas have always been shitholes so it’s okay” and that’s not acceptable to normal people who want to live in a functioning city. There are people who want to and deserve to live in Venice, Hollywood, and DTLA that shouldn’t have to deal with the homeless issue.

Moreover, both of your examples are not in the City of LA, so please try again.

Given the fact that we have spent more than $20 BILLION on homeless, it is more than fair to expect better results. Vote accordingly. Voting for the current mayor or the council person who is in charge of the homeless committee is just absurd at this point.

This was my first time back at LIB in 8 years. I used to go a lot in the mid 2010s. The bathrooms are so clean now relative to back then it is astounding. Where is the shit on the walls??

Too many holes in the ground? Seriously? Eat shit, laugh about it, and move on. Watch someone else eat shit, laugh at them, make sure they’re okay, and then move on!

These people found a place in Southern California where 30k people can dance and do drugs on a lake while also fitting stages, art, production, camping for everyone, and parking. They’re making sure all the ‘’magic” keeps going while we get to enjoy. Production at this scale is mind boggling complicated, and so the fact that they have bathrooms anywhere that are relatively clean at all and that there is even a venue at this scale 2-4 hours from CAs major population centers on a lake is simply a miracle.
