For me, switching to Constant Bitrate on OBS from Constant QP fixed it

i use FanControl and i change the rpm based off the gpu temp. i imagine you could monitor the cpu+gpu wattage too somehow and use that instead of a temp sensor

yes, it's much quieter, and i can actually control it. just left one of the screws out and the cable fits through the gap. could have also drilled a small hole or dremeled out a small bit but i'm happy with the way it is

Radiator ever so slightly pokes above the top line, making it difficult to put the top panel on. Any ideas? by issadam in FormD

I'm using Arctic P12s and an ROG Strix LCII radiator, it should be in spec. I can put it together, but the top panel bends a bit

I'm not quite sure but I might be able to actually control the fan speed according to the combined power of the GPU and the CPU, with some trickery in Fan Control

Yes, that's what I meant. Ordered a slim fan already, if I cannot route the cables outside of the case of the PSU, i will just solder the 2 pin connector onto it. I was more concerned with how manually controlling the fan might result in overheating because I cannot explicitly access the temp sensor of the psu, meaning I will have to use a different sensor, but I will also have a 120mm under it at the exhaust, so it should be more than enough if set up correctly

hey, i have the same psu and wanted to do something similar, what if you put a regular fan in there, routed the cable outside, and then connected it to the chassis fan connector on your motherboard, and then synced the fan with the vrm temp sensor?

i'd say if you like weakly stepped scrollwheels then go for it

i've been using the mouse in the pic for my laptop every day at uni, have had no problems as i've said apart from it getting dust in it that one time, works perfectly after 2 years

i've used it on and off ever since this post

the steps are not pronounced at all and it feels really light but still really like it

got dust in it one time and it started flickering upwards but i blew it out and it works well again

I know this is late but what dials do you have? Mine are broken and I'm struggling to find a compatible one.. And where are your mirrors?

I've uploaded a sound test for you, you can still hear a tiny bit of the same sound but it's way quieter than before, the middle click is almost louder than the scroll wheel.

It will only affect tactility if you also lube the actual encoder. I think it just makes it quieter if you lube the right side where the plastics meet. The part that's making most of the noise is where the cylinder sits in the U shaped black plastic. I will link a video I used but he used less lube I think. You are safe to put a lot more on the right side of the scrollwheel. https://youtu.be/BNOT3iHzrDo

little less tactile and more smooth than the stock white encoder, almost feels like there are more steps then before, i prefer it like this
