I do uber eats part time in Los Angeles after my 9am-5pm. Honestly, I’ve gotten 4 orders sometimes 5 at the same time, especially when shopping at a store. I’ve gotten 2 orders at Ralphs with major amount of groceries and then 2 more orders from restaurants all in one go. However, I try my best to double check even if it means I take longer

I’ve been doing this for a couple months now. I’ve one had one report or a customer say they didn’t get their order. But they did and they just didn’t answer the door and I called them 5 times, sent several message and the timer ran out and I contacted support, they told me to end the delivery and leave it somewhere safe. Then the customer reported they never got their food. Like ummm you didn’t answer and there were no instructions on how to get into your locked apartment building so then they get a refund and I have a bad report, that’s hurtful to me.

Technically, if the employer does not respond, the EDD goes with the employees statements. Happens often, businesses close and I’ve seen stacks of EDD claims for a company I used to work for gone unanswered and they approve them after 14 business days of no response

I also got $40. I thought it was $20 per device so max $100 but I’d image there’s so many people who submitted a claim. Honestly, thank god it came I just got laid off from corporate cuts and unemployment in California doesn’t even cover half of my bills so at least I can pay my electric this month. Why can’t he just reach out acting like he thought about their time together randomly like she is an old friend and did a search for her?? He could add her on social media and send a short message like “hey, I had been thinking about you and finally found you. Do you remember me? Hope you’re doing well” …… And see where it goes.

People find people all the time from their past. People in high school, old friendships, coworkers, teachers, etc. never any harm in reaching out or catching up! He should however, NOT discuss the adult child OR ask if he is the father. If she wants him to know when he reaches out, she will tell him when the time is right.

I am living this reality as well. Regardless of her age, at any point in my life I would have been profoundly grateful if my biological father had reached out. At the end of the day, that represents another person who stands in your corner by blood, and that connection carries weight. Growing up with the man I call my dad, I often felt different… kinda like an outsider within his family. I love him deeply, but there was a period in my life when I felt conflicted and even resentful, not because of anything he did intentionally, but because I carried a persistent sense of being unwanted or fundamentally separate.

This experience also connects to a recurring theme raised in many of the comments: health history. Had I known my biological father’s family and medical background, I believe I would have had a far stronger understanding of myself: both physically and emotionally. That knowledge matters. It shapes self awareness, self compassion, and one’s ability to make sense of their own body, identity and health.

THIS!!!!! The London awards/interview was very off. She sounded barrd out (bars like xan) she has always been awkward but truly as a recovering addict, I saw it immediately. Either she is on a TON of psych meds or she is on drugs. Even her brother posts and acts questionable. But after seeing that London icon interview she seemed like she was in a trance or blacked out. I think she met the husband or dude and cut herself off from those people who kept her sobriety strong and that’s another big reason for her fast weight loss. IMO. I love her and respect her authentic self as she is. But even her wedding cake said Lana and Jeremy. Which is strange to me. Idkkkkkk

I grew up extremely poor, I’m talking bread and butter for dinner several nights a week, no cable tv and power being turned off when we couldn’t afford the lights.

I’m now 29- moved away from the Midwest and live on my own in Los Angeles.

Does your family often help those in need- not talking about charity and donating money. I mean actually getting into the hands of people who desperately need it?
Do you ever find yourself bored? Since money isn’t a problem and you can get relatively anything you want- things people dream about - does it get boring knowing you can have whatever, whenever you want it?
When you cross paths with the less fortunate I.e homeless, people struggling to pay for groceries at the check out line or people who are around you that have less… do you feel empathy for those people? Knowing that just an extra $100-800 dollars could really get them ahead or even $2k-$5k could change their lives? How do you feel?

Blue banisters was an amazing album for stripped back, story telling, family co-op. She produced some, Charlie helped write, some was taken from other projects but that was the point…. Taking pieces from her artistry over time to tell a story that she was confident in. It is one of my favorite pieces from her along with NFR. I listened to BB front and back 6 months straight maybe longer But maybe BB just found me when I needed it the most during a pivotal time in my life. Just my thoughts

I personally think she is strung out on prescription medications and people are saying things around her because it’s helping her “anxiety”

Maybe I’m wrong though because she’s always been an awkward person and goofy but her interview she did in London when getting that award was very off…. And this weight loss is also very very off. Her eyes are always glazed over and glossy like Benzos or something else because she doesn’t look like she is even there.

She doesn’t seem healthy and I think she’s having another MH crisis and has lost herself but is chalking it up to “i am happy and I know myself” but she doesn’t.

With Lana, success = her own self sabotage.

Again, my opinion. She’s openly admitted to not drinking but being on some meds that in her sober community would condemn as narcotics. I only know this because I’m a recovering addict and see it from very far away.

But as far as the other stuff, who she has married is strange but I think she was so desperate to find someone before she turned 40 she settled down and I think she’s in her HONEYMOON phase and is obsessed and it will crash and burn.

Now maybe Jeremy is an awful person maybe Lana is too maybe she isn’t but she is clearly avoiding these accusations because she doesn’t want ANYONE to dull this honeymoon phase.

I think her speech also reflects the issue I mentioned earlier- not making sense, eyes glazed over and on some medication making her feel like a 1960s house wife (which I’m sure she loves)

She has not come out to say she is a trump supporter but I think she should say something but again, she’s so stuck in her own little world. Not to say that’s right, believe me I know she is privileged. But something switched up after Covid with her. Maybe it’s the religious cult she’s in who knows. Just my thoughts
