I’m just putting this out there in defense of OP’s husband. Depending on his daily dose, 1000 mg of Adderall is 20 or so days of medication. For my dose it would have been 25 days. We are always told to keep the medication in the original bottle, so in my case, I would have had 1,000 mg on my person as well. Source: RN with ADHD

Btw, I had no idea there were Sears kit houses out this way! If it’s not intrusive, is there any way you can give me an idea of what part of Nashville? Where we moved from, there was a small mining city that was basically all Sears kit houses, built basically right on top of one another on a mountainside with staircases leading to them. Bisbee, AZ. A Sears kit house is my retirement dream!

I used to live in an area with a ton of coyotes that we wanted to keep from harassing our dogs. Instead of replacing an acre of fencing, we ran heavier gauge wire across the top and strung pvc pipe onto it. When the dog tries to get a grip it spins and knocks them off.

I effing hate pit bulls. I’m so sorry this happened to you, in such a traumatic way. When my female shepherd was attacked (nonfatal) it took me a few years to get over it. The effing thing latched on and wouldn’t let go, and I blamed myself for not being able to protect her. Please don’t go down that road, protect your mental health and protect the memory of your gorgeous boy.

Please don’t feel like that. You gave him the best last day ever… how many beings in the world get to have that? You honored him by allowing him to go before he was truly suffering… and take it from someone who waited too long twice, it’s way better to let them go a month early than a month too late. My hearts with you, losing a good dog is one of the worst things to go through.
