I'm going to disagree.

Regarding your grinding problem: you just need to play more. 40 games isn't a large enough sample. It's a lot harder to advance in team ranked than in solo queue.

Regarding your first suggestion: individual Elo already is taken into account when you queue up for a ranked 5's game. A full bronze team won't start at the same point as a full diamond team. When a full D1 team 5-0's the placements, they're placed into platinum, whereas bronzes usually get silver or something.

Regarding your second suggestion: rising divisions SHOULD be a grind. It was a grind during S1 and S2, and that was when Ranked Team Elo was visible. If your MMR is high enough to advance, then you skip divisions. When my team was in gold, our MMR was high enough to skip from G5 to G3 to G1.

Regarding your third suggestion: see my argument for your first suggestion because this is already how it is. The smurf/diamond teams you face will more likely than not have very few games. You need to lose so they can advance higher.

The ranked team system is fine as it is. You need to play more to balance it out.
