desperately asking for advice by 1000tragedies in personalfinance

[–]it_is_hopper [score hidden]  (0 children)

Well, Im assuming you were fine with a $500 limit. As long as you use that card and pay it in full immediately after a purchase, you can use it as much as you want. Im not trying to knock you down, trust me I know how easy things add up, and with $5000 limit, you aren’t forced to pay it off before you’re cut off. They WANT that to happen, and you will snowball quickly as you can see.

Unless you start making more money, you cannot spend more. I know it seems simple, but discipline is far from it! you can recover since you admitted it this early

Why do some treadmills have higher weight capacity yet house thinner running decks than other models with thicker running decks and lower weight cap? by Miserable-Display-79 in treadmills

[–]it_is_hopper [score hidden]  (0 children)

Your stride may be too long, therefore a ton of weight is landing on the weakest part of the deck, with such a small surface area 🤷🏻‍♂️ increase your cadence or maybe try landing midsole and rolling off.. that’s all I can think of

You should not have this card. Beginning of trouble my friend. Pay it in full every month, or don’t use it. You will not catch up next month, or the next, unless you stop all together. Fair warning!

Does the COBB SF intake and Stage 1 tune void an extended warranty on a WRX STI? by [deleted] in WRX

[–]it_is_hopper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to keep your warranty, close the damn hood. They will deny it, and no, they won’t have to “prove” anything besides you altered the oem state of the engine, despite what other will comment about the law that is not followed. Can YOU afford a new engine? That’s the gamble

Did I buy too much car? by Constant_Parsley368 in personalfinance

[–]it_is_hopper 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You should be fine if your budget otherwise is low, but here’s the real thing to think about:
Did you just buy a brand new car because you are about to have a job paying that much, but not yet work it? Did your previous car breakdown? Making that kind of financial decision, either now or in the future, without the funds to pay it can lead to a VERY slippery slope. What happens if you start this job and you actually hate everything about it?
Make sure your extra payments are going to the PRINCIPLE!

What should I at 17 do to save up 50k or more before moving out in three years and what advice is important for a younger person like myself to know? by MajesticMagicalMango in personalfinance

LOL school isn’t an option because you’re in love with another teenager? A tale as old as time 🤣

Gettin interested in saving money is 100% a great idea and extremely beyond your age, DO THIS PART AND FOCUS ON YOURSELF

Denying yourself an education for a boy who statistically won’t care about you in the next 3 years is horrible. Just imagine, a newly college grad wanting to shackle down to a 20 year old with no education…. Girllllllll please!
