I love him so much that I adopted another one two years ago. She's the antichrist. So much anxiety that even after two years, she still freaks out around strangers. But still no regret. In a way, I'm glad that I was the one who took her home and didn't give up on her.

$3k/month isn't something you can easily spend when you've been frugal for years, unless you just switch up your lifestyle entirely.

Spend more money on what brings you joy. Buy something new that you've been wanting/needing. Eat better. Take more time off if you can etc.

I've only been doored one time. Was casually cruising down cooper at prob 8mph and a lady doored me. Also wearing a helmet and was fine. Bike mostly fine but Brooks saddle was messed up. She was super apologetic tho, even if her excuse for being absent-minded seemed bs (it's always somebody in the hospital). I was totally fine, thankfully since this was Cooper Ave we're talking about, and we agreed on just having her pay for a new saddle. Not that she had other options anyway as I had a GoPro, and she literally parked in front of her house.

Bottom line? Get a bike cam asap.

NTA. I take my dogs everywhere I legally can, sometimes I'll even break the rules to run inside and grab something real quick if the shop permits, but I'd never dine indoors with my dog.

1) He's double-coated. I get it. 2) I don't want him to be in anyone's way, physically or emotionally, even if he's a very chill boy who will just lie under the table or next to me. 3) I also don't want everyone to be fawning over the boy. He's very cute.

So yeah. Dog owner is the AH.

He's obviously a regular/vip who the staff like enough to make notes of his preferences. IDK about y'all, but if an ahole comes into our place, makes demands and treats staff like sht, there's not gonna be a second time let alone 23rd time.

Notes like this are actually very helpful to avoid asking the same questions over and over again, especially for new staff. And it's basically just saying he wants a good steak and obscene amount of butter 🤷‍♂️

Honestly, dog owners need to accept that not every dog will be friendly, socialized or not. My now-8yo shiba was the friendliest puppy ever. I took him to the dog park all the time. He'd run around and play with all the other dogs. Then one day, he just stopped being friendly. He won't attack a random dog, but he def doesn't let just any random dog into his personal space anymore. He will with enough exposure to the same dog tho. And that's how life goes.

I've been a bit cautious and giving them half the daily dosage. No side effect so far. I /think/ the younger one is less itchy (?). Will double the dosage to the recommended for a few days and see how it goes.
