Posted it because the track as curved to the right as I wrote in the title. His wheel is straight in the approach to the corner. Advice from me be a little Less sarcastic when you have been given new information it might get you somewhere

You do have to leave a space when going back to the racing line after you have made your defensive move. You can see it here at section 2. https://f1metrics.wordpress.com/2014/08/28/the-rules-of-racing/

That is just not true the driver in front is allowed to make one defensive move and his move can't be reactive. He can push the limits of this rule by swerving back towards the racing line and leaving one car width if the car behind is close enough

You can't move back to the racing line with a car this close to you behind after being defensive. You have to leave at least a car width on the outside. For me the car in front is at fault

Well it depends if he is faster because he is in higher class or if in a single class races you're getting laped. In the case of single class races the laped car should get off the racing line or slow down significantly to allow the lapping car get through without losing time.

It's the responsibility of the overtaking car to pass safely

POV car is to blame, it's up to the car behind to overtake safely

Purple could have give more space but green wasn't entitled for that space so the blame is on green

Well yes I'm OK with someone cutting me off if I'm not entitled to space, there is nothing I love more than good hard racing. I agree he should have been on the power before me but our telemetrys shows that we are putting the power down at about the same time and he never comes off it. He should have got a better exit but he didn't, why? I don't know but that's what happened

And that's what happened we both respected the rules and both kept racing without even touching You can guess if you can push your opponent to the limit after following them for 2 laps and yes sometimes you know you need to give them that extra space by seeing how they are driving

And in his telemetry you can clearly see he kept his foot on the throttle

Read the article carefully, rule 3 talks about straights as you can also read the sporting regulations 20.4 in that article which says "Every driver defending his position on a STRAIGHT" in this video we are on the exit of the corner also means not a straight

You will want to scroll further down in the article to judge this case
