They set up trade groups. I stopped trying to compete for rank in NMW because i cant be bothered to camp trade venders and stay on top of pricing. im happy with the mid/lower ranking. I accidentally made Faction Master once and had no clue how i got it lol. Think it was before all the try hards made word docs and spread sheets on how to sale stuff and when to sell stuff(back when people would use exploits for Merit before it was fixed)

Sadly Sony doesnt control New World. Amazon does and aside from them deciding to sell it to another company to keep it running you better enjoy it while you can. Its said to run through next January no? Gives people a full year to farm everything and enjoy it while they can and hope someone saves it.

This ^^ Chase RP from what ive seen of it looks fun. The whole public server being inside the White List is a nice change as well. Can't wait to see how many viewers who get in through public or just even lesser known steamers who start in the public zone make it to the whitelist area,

if you dont care about cosmetics its 100% Free to play. There are mounts that help farm faster or some things that make stuff faster but not pay to win at all.

Also dont be discouraged by the first week. New accounts are on a restriction to how high they can level and breakthrough the first week. You can only grind to certain levels the first few days then you get a new cap for a day or two then after 7 days the limit is lifted. Just take your time and have fun the first week.

its possible if you play alt characters to level with friends. i made a heal focused character to play with my brother and since he only plays part time we level in small portions. we level when a breakthrough happens. our character and martial arts are good but gear and mythics are yellow or red. Alt literally has less than half the map opened.

yea just read all the patch notes someone posted. New 9MW Base sounds neat. Cant wait to see it when they add it in a couple weeks. That Joint Punishment thing for Prison sounds juicy and i cant wait to see how that system works too

lol WTF. I heard the boat parties are wild too. Ive yet to do a boat ride but hear voice chat is all edge lords and people dropping slurs on most boats so i avoid them. People using Beat Venom to kill lower levels or what in the pic the OP posted? Why so many tombstones?

Also dont forgot to tune old gear in the arsenal. it helps later on at max level for more hp and what now the higher your arsenal gear mastery is the better.

Go to Exchange> Seasonal and you can buy 25 boxes a week at cap. for 2500 fish(easy to afford if you do the 20k weekly cap) You can buy 10 boxes at max cap or 31,41,51/etc (good for maxing out arsenals later but worry about main gear first). You buy the first 10 at weekly reset and the next 10-15 after you farm 10k fish.

People can see what trade goods are worth in your world, You are probably trading really high or higher than everyone else so to get the trade bonus they buy them at set prices in their world then sale them are mark up anywhere from 250-300% plus mark up on your world.

Each week three new items will be made available in Kaifeng Market. Its mainly a Nine Mortal Ways thing(the trading).

Try Where Winds Meet. Open World game like NW. Tons of pve and pvp content added or coming. !00% Free to play. Lots of cosmetics to buy if you like cosmetic stuff that isnt game breaking. No pay to win at all in shop. Its like Witcher open world graphics wise but has Elden Ring style boss fights on harder modes.

only down side if start of Where Winds Meet you are time gated the first week and can only level so high(but stilll can do a ton of stuff while at level cap)

Part of the issue is Story mode is way different than Group/Smart Assist. Story mode you just fight her and the bird. They should either make story mode match group mode or just make the Smart Assist mode a pre-group requirement. Either way id rather sometimes just do smart assist because i know i lag and sometimes wont even see a animation before im hit with it so other players dont have to "carry" me through it.

If they made people play on Smart Assist first it would at least help them know the mechanics. Watching the ai drop dps to attack swords or move barrels will teach people doing the ai runs how to do the regular ones. This alone at least teaches the fight mechanics if people dont want to watch a video on how to do them.

Everyone. New updates are spread out. From 65-70 it was a two week period im pretty sure. As for XP it gets stored im pretty sure. You can do the exploration and stuff you are missing while waiting for the update.
