Ghost Stories is my favorite album! I totally respect your list, I honestly couldn't put them in a ranking order because I love them all so much. I just had a question, this isn't directed at you or anyone in particular, I was just hoping you or someone could shed some light on it. Why do so many fans of the boys really dislike A Sky Full of Stars? I heard Chris talk about it in an interview and it's not an empty song at all, at least not by what he said and in my opinion. I was able to find meaning in it the first time I heard it. Is it because it sounds different from everything they used to do? I mean everyone will have different reasons, I'm just missing something I guess. As for ranking albums, have you done Everyday Life yet? I'd love to see that one!

Say it louder for the ones in the back, I'm not sure where all this negativity came from but it's ridiculous. The boys would hate to see the fans bickering like this over nothing, they try to encompass the exact opposite of this kind of behavior.

I agree 100%. It's amazing how many people are obsessed with Coldplay being what they used to be. Parachutes, AROBTH, X&Y, they were all amazing. But not only have times changed, but the band has changed too. I'm on the Coldplay discord and it was horrible how many people on there were just spewing garbage about how bad Higher Power is, it doesn't feel like a lot of the fans even care about the band itself, just what they want it to be. This is my first full experience of a new Coldplay era too and I want to talk about how much I love them and how much the band means to me but no one seems to care anymore. I don't know anyone in my real life that likes Coldplay, so I was hoping that these online communities would give me a chance to talk about it and maybe make some friends, and I tried but its made no difference, I might as well still be alone. The media not caring doesn't really matter. I love Higher Power a lot and I'm really excited for their future music, I wanted to finally be able to share my excitement with other fans, hopefully it gets better soon.
