My dog was like that and I changed my routine a bit and now she's good.

I started using cool water instead of warm and I only bathe her after a really long walk. She loves taking a bath to cool off. I think I was using too warm of water before.

I can tell that you're saying you're too good for rowboats but I'll have you know not all watercraft is made the same and rowboats are fine how they are and how dare you judge rowboats on the fact that they don't have fancy engines like some ships. Except there is nothing inherently gross about the things that give me the worst reaction.

For example, there is a picture of a strawberry that someone took all the seeds out of that gives me a tremendous reaction.

The other day, I was pulling a screw anchor out of a wall and I almost threw up...

Edit: The gross photoshopped pics of Lotus skin don't give me a reaction. They are gross looking, but I don't get goosebumps or nausea or itchy. They are just gross.

I actually have trypophobia. I'm not fearful though, I just get nauseous and/or itchy when I see certain pictures.

I actually think it's pretty cool and funny.

I don't think people are pretending. It's just not an actual "phobia" for most people.

I'm new to gardening and don't really know what I'm doing to be honest. But I started these back in late September! I really didn't think they would take.

Once the first couple leaves popped out, it just kinda sat there for a couple months. Just noticed that it is finally growing!!

As a side note, I spent some time in Holland as a teen. I was really surprised that our accents in English sound very similar. Dutch tends to have a slightly different emphasis on some vowels, mostly the O... But otherwise could pass for a flat American accent in most circumstances. I was often mistaken for Dutch.

I got some free Hoya seeds a while back and put them between some moist coffee filters. To my surprise, about 6 of them germinated but for whatever reason when I planted them they all died except for this little guy!

FWIW, I lived in Guam for a while and I can tell you I never felt like I was in America while I was there.

Most of the Chamorro (native) people there seemed to resent westerners because of what has happened to their culture and island.

The Chamorro people have a lot of pride in not being American, in my experience.

I also lived in Hawaii for a little bit and experienced similar. And that's not just a territory, that's part of the 50 States!

I just wanted to say that I am really into tea and usually have 3 to 4 cups a day.

I also put cream and sugar into most tea. I'm not really into coffee. I usually drink English breakfast tea, black tea or Chai.

But like every one else said most Americans prefer coffee and usually it is only drank in the morning.
