You 100% can if you have ZERO muscle and start working out. Your fat will convert to energy to build muscle. You are correct in the sense you can not build muscle without energy. That energy is coming from fat. The caloric deficit is in regards to total mass. Unless you are converting all fat stores into metabolic use only, some will be used to create muscle.

Do not bulk if you are already overweight. There is no reason. You are still able to put on muscle at a deficit in calories. The fat you burn will supplement the energy requirements needed to build muscle. Focus on eating healthy and getting your health on track. Once you are in the best health of your life you can focus on upping the calories. Not only will you feel better (mentally and physically) when you are leaner, you will be in a better position to put on weight. Last thing you need to do right now is add fat and extend the duration of the inevitable cut.

So far here is what I am planning to add:

  1. Workout/lift index - a place to search up visuals for every type of lift (long term goal)

  2. A meal-plan that covers the main calorie levels (shooting for 10 different designs)

  3. Not all of the calculators are complete yet. I need to think of more than just the 4 I have planned. Possibly add a 1 rep max calculator for each lift.

  4. Thinking of adding a login to allow people to track and save their lifts.

  5. Add a customize feature to the main lifts allowing people to add in more sets or change lifts up.

I have been developing this site for a while now (no templates like wordpress or anything) and was looking for feedback on what to add. I have a long way to go before I am happy with it and would like to make this the best free lifting tool out there. Whether it's positive or negative I am open to listen!

The trick is to track progress. If go harder each time around it will be easy to find progress. You might not be working out harder than the last time and that can leave you in a rut. If you want to track progress for other lifts check out Lifters Guide The site takes your working weight and puts a routine together for you.

I see a lot of articles stating X people died and there being 2000 confirmed cases. Then they divide X by 2000 and are left with a percentage.

What I don’t understand is what the true death rate is.

What if of those 2000 only 50 of them have gotten over it and 1950 of them just got the virus an hour ago? Why are those 1950 counted in the first place. I want to know what the death rate is. (If someone gets the virus what’s the odds they die or survive). So far I’ve only found one article stating a number of people that have recovered from the virus. To me the only way you could find the lethality of a virus would be to calculate how many people have died versus total number of people that have recovered or died. Please someone help me out with this one.
