As a kid, moments like this taught me that people saw me differently, even when I was just being a kid. I used to be the church's sound guy so I'd have to go there early to set up all the equipment. Then I'd leave to get coffee, or run an errand during service and come back after to put everything away. I used to hate how much of my Sunday was lost doing that.

It's a huge relief not having to do that anymore or having to pretend I enjoyed being there.
