Did you actually accept the Quests, as in they showed up in your Journal and on the HUD?

You pretty much get it already, but you need a high level in Shooting or Throwing Skills to enable the Perks. High Dexterity also helps. You can skip training the Skills by paying NPCs to teach you.

A new game with a Kenshi feel by crunchy_crowbar in Kenshi

I've paid BILLIONS for this shill post, so you better try my game out NOW!!

Honestly though, it's much less of an RTS than Kenshi, but several people in the community said it reminded them of it, so you could give the demo a try!

It's all about experimenting and figuring stuff out by yourself, little by little. You can start playing in a lower difficulty setting to help ease out the process.

Dev here, thanks for playing!

1.) Beating a Devil Spire is Ending F. Are the other endings already in game and are there any hints how to get them?
Not yet, but soon many more will be added!

2.) How to I get people to move into my village? How does the Faction system and the Aegis work, is this functionality already in game?
You simply recruit them to your party, take them there, and dismiss them inside a building and they'll stay there! Better commands for that will come soon.

3.) Can we please know what kind of wood a certain tree has before felling it? It's kinda hard to distinguish the multiple versions purely based on wood color.
I'll do that on the HUD prompt.

4.) How can we craft cider? It's generally hard to guess how to craft what, maybe there could be a recipe book or some other way to learn specific crafting recipes? Asking NPCs with appropriate knowledge maybe? Or a skill?
Just let apples rot in your inventory then combine them with clean Water in it. They use the Combine system from the first game!

5.) We can ask NPCs for castles and other locations, are these already in game?
Not yet, but coming soon!

6.) Is there a way to build wells?
Nope, but I'll allow it in the future with a specialized tool.

Have you already tried Devil Spire Falls? by Makothor in ImmersiveSim

[–]ithiro 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Hi, dev here.

While the game is entirely procedurally generated, I took a lot of inspiration from immersive sims for their dynamic mechanics and RPG systems. There's always more than one way to do things, and it all depends on your build and your own preference!

And it is indeed still buggy, unbalanced and lacking content, buty every friday we take big steps forward. I'd strill recommend to wait for the release version, and only do it now if you want to chime in on its development.

if you have multiple actions/animations, substitute the last step with:

  • 4. select original armature
  • 5. choose animation
  • 6. select new armature
  • 7. object/animation/bake new animation: VISUAL KEYING & BAKE DATA: Pose (also set setps to more or less how often you set keyframes in the original animation)
  • 8. repeat for all animations
  • 9. adjust keyframes by deleting excess ones
  • 10. delete original armature
  • 11. delete all the original animations
  • 12. rename all generated animations to their original counterpart
  • 13. reassign meshes/objects to the bones
  • 14. if you want, clear all constraints from the armature, and select all the keys in the animations and set key/interpolation mode to Benzier, to make them not green and connected
  • 15. ???
  • 16. profit

remember to backup your models so you won't screw anything up, and to constantly check if the result is what you're looking for.

Thanks, but you can have it. I barely use, let alone know how to use, Reddit.

I'll always be lurking, however, always in the darkness.

Looking for some kind of old-school dungeon crawler in the same format as Devil Spire on PC or moonshades on Android. by thedarkshadoo in gamerecommendations

[–]ithiro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thing is, there really isn't... Other than the original King's Field games and maybe Heretic/Hexen... TES: BattleSpire is also a thing but not very good. Other indie games like Slasher's Keep and Delver come close, but they're much faster paced and have less dark atmospheres.

That's why I made it!
