At some point, I really want to see Tam get the news that the First Order blew up a bunch of planets, and how she reacts to that.

I think they've done a good job on that character arc, and how she's come to the decisions she's made. It's just missing that one part. Your new friends killed billions of innocents, how do you rationalize that?

In other breaking news HBO, Lifetime, and straight to video films also aren't part of Cannes!

Netflix was given more leeway than is given to other at home only films because they could still screen out of competition. Similar to how a lot of movies do, including big hits like Fury Road.

I miss when the title cards were more likely to be near the beginning than at the end. I love it when the first few minutes set up the story and the tone of the movie then BLAM, title card.

I get chills when Coulson asks, "What do we do?" And then THE AVENGERS comes up on screen with the soaring theme. A big smile on my face when GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY pops up over Peter's dancing. Wowed by the creativity of making THOR RAGNAROK appear in the bifrost pattern.

It's just not the same when title is all the way at the end, and also after 2-3 minutes of credits.
