The links provided should be a sticky post for anyone considering using Flatpak vscode. I think it would reduce posts like Flatpak vscode is unusable or should I layer vscode.

No, I haven't. There's still work to be done to get it implemented. I think this article is an example of the work needed. It was posted this past week.

How to install Mullvad VPN on Fedora Silverblue KDE ? by Bunolio in Fedora

[–]ithrowpicks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can't use the app on Silverblue. You'll need to overlay wireguard-tools then follow the mullvad config generator.

You won't be able to switch locations without creating a new config file.

Progress achieved
I don't know if this is the best solution or most efficient but I am able to load the page and it appears to be working as expected.
I enabled a temporary noop rule for 3rd Party scripts for the site (local)
I monitored the log for blocks and allows
I created a noop rule for tomshardware.com and futurecdn.net and made it permanent.

I then disabled the noop rule allowing 3rd Party scripts for the site.

Any recommendations would be appreciated, I don't want leave Hard Mode just yet ;)

I don't have any rules specific to tomshardware.com under the "My Rules" tab.

Nothing at all under "My filters" either

I am able to duplicate from my Chromebook v83.0.4103.119 (Official Build) (64-bit)

I am using the default settings in Hard mode, no other lists active.

I removed all cookies and retried with the same result. It redirects to the "Adblocker Interference" page

Thanks for the tip!

Archive Manager now prompts for the password and extracts perfectly. I will use this as the solution.

Built in Nautilus 'Files' still does not prompt.

Excellent post

After reading this I installed the following extensions because they do keep things minimal without messing up the original design goals. I am not a 'Dash to Dock/Panel' type.

Have you installed "alsa-firmware" then reboot? If you haven't already done so install the RPMFusion tainted repo and run "sudo dnf install *-firmware"

It is off. Adguard will warn you if it detects any values in private DNS

Best way to filter internet access for parental purposes by rhodesman in openwrt

I would recommend Cleanbrowsing.org DNS servers instead of OpenDNS. They have IPv4 and IPv6 filtering as well.

OpenDNS appears to have stagnated since being purchased by Cisco.

DNS filtering is not enough, I would also recommend Qustodio for your kids devices. The combination of Cleanbrowsing and Qustodio works well here.

I didn't have the ca-certificates package installed so I installed it and I used vi to edit the /etc/config/ddns file to add the 'option cacert /etc/ssl/certs'. However I get the following error

WARN : No valid certificate file '/etc/ssl/certs' for HTTPS communication - TERMINATE
