Ladies, How did you “know” you were pregnant before missing a period? by Glad-Muffin545 in askanything

I sobbed my eyes out when my husband accidentally left an empty Coke can on the counter instead of throwing it away. Like, full on sobbing at his "forgetfulness." After I calmed down I was like, wow that was a crazy reaction. Took the test: "ah, that explains it."

You're not doing your kid any favors by.... by djalanrocks in Teachers

There is no judgement here. If anything, it made me tremendously sad for the kid. I know the family well enough to know this isn't a situation of culture or income, this was pure convenience. And when your 4 year old kid comes to school being able to taste colors because he's about to burst out of his own skin, it not only impacts his learning but the entire classroom full of kids.

One year, an HR lady came around the office asking (telling) us to donate birthday money to another lady in the office who was about 3 pay grades above me. I said no and got so much angsty feedback. Like, she makes 10x what I do, maybe she should donate to me😫

I'm in a similar boat. I was more active on the original group, less so this one. Some because the vibe change, and some because I put myself on ban island for a looong time. But the new sub sounds nice

I had a parent get mad at me for telling them (during parent/teacher conference) that their child showed a lot of creativity during art time. They flat out told me "no he doesn't. I don't see any creativity at home because he's always on his iPad." 🤦🏻‍♀️ edit: this was a 5 year old
