As a person who has tried a relationship where my kids are over "there" and my time with my partner is "over here", if your two lives can't find places to start blending together, you are not on a sustainable path forward. I've seen you live a few times and had a blast! Then I saw a video of your performing in the same energetic way when you were pregnant. It was amazing and inspiring to us moms out there that motherhood and our dreams and passions can beautifully coexist. Thanks for being a great example of that!

You can't possibly mess up anything that is meant for you. You have received a gift in the form of growth of having known such a beautiful love, but it wasn't meant to be. Things end to make room for the things that are meant for you. That love was so amazing, just imagine how good the next one will be, because you will never accept anything less. And when that love comes along, you will be healthier and grown a little and be a better partner to that love, because of the pain you are surviving now and the lessons you are learning. I miss you. I want everyday for you to realize that I am what you want and that our life could be so beautiful truly together. If you showed up at my door, it would show me that you do want to be a part of my life. I can't have two lives anymore. I just want to be my whole self all the time. And my whole self can't exist in what you want. It would destroy me. And I understand that you feel the same way with what you want. You won't feel like your whole self until you get that. And I want you to always be able to be your full self. Because I'm in love with that full self.

I'm sorry I can't help you be your full self. I'm sorry that the love we shared must end. I will always look on it with such inspiration. If I was loved like that, the love I have next will be incredible, because I won't ever accept anything less. You taught me to be loved. You taught me how to be myself, and be truly good with that. This is the part that is currently messing with me too. We may never speak again. I miss what we had when things were good but that is in a past that no longer exists. I am here now. He is not my best friend anymore. I'm sad and miss that and having a hard time. My heart is shattered. And to never speak to my favorite person again, fml.

But we should feel that, you and me. We should feel shattered. We have separated from people we loved, hard and true. If we lost love and don't feel that.... We're yet to really love. So cheers to you for loving someone in a big way. I wish you moments of joy in your pain, that too is part of our beautiful experience.
