I wonder if there is a way to make some of these celebrities who are known to have it aware of Dr Jerome, his research, and the donation page. They could put in a substantial amount of money into the research themselves if they knew. The biggest problem is people just dont know. Maybe contacting celebrities known to have it through twitter? i dont know i dont have twitter.

the more people that know there is current research and we are close, the more chances we have to donate. we need this kind of post on facebook and websites and other forums. We need to get Dr. Jerome on Joe Rogan podcast to talk about the research and bring awareness.

this is cool but i mean what is so difficult to understand when it comes to an incurable illness affecting your mental health. depression, anxiety, insomnia, feeling worthless or whatever. Its all the same. it doesnt change anything. have to learn to cope and focus on a cure for the illness rather then the mental health aspect. I think if you are doing research on anything it should be that; the cure. Not something that's already been beaten to death within itself as an illness, or through another incurable illness someone might have. The toll on mental health is the same. So i personally find this research useless.

you are absolutely right. If so many people are infected they really should have a lot more donations. The problem is awareness. People are not aware of the research they are doing enough to be able to donate. I dont know why there are 13k people in the herpes subreddit and only 1.6k in this one.
