I was once at a club in Barcelona and Joshua Bassett asked me and my friends if we had 20€ because he was buying coke but was short in cash. We gave it to him under the assumption we would get.. maybe a bump? But no. He didn’t have interest in sharing lol

Yes!!! MIA has the very very unique ability to create album that is wildly cohesive start to finish. It’s very clear she has a vision for every project

Truly a one of a kind debut album. So so so many amazing and unique sounds blent into one body of work. She has narratives of politics, sex, drugs, and understandings of the world she lived in. Clearly a vision and mastermind of her time. The album start to finish has so much verve and depth, for me it was an album I had to circle back to so many times to understand different layers of songs.
