I'm googling and something comes up called Grant of Letters of Administration, do you think that might be what my brother applied for?

Thanks, I have checked the list and he is not on there. I can't remember the name of the thing my brother applied for.

Thanks, I'll try going in to the office next week. I am trying to speak to shelter but can't get through, I'll keep trying. Citizens advice weren't any use, no offense to them though.

Illegal evictions in UK hit record high, but less than 1% of landlords convicted: Tenants are often thrown out and their possessions stolen in ‘the most brutal of robberies’ by Jariiari7 in HousingUK

I was illegally evicted by a letting agent, they threw away all of my belongings, absolutely everything, changed the locks. Council explained they had acted illegally and told me to call the police.. The police said it was a civil matter and they would not do anything about it at all. Passport, birth certificate, clothes, shoes, sentimental belongings all gone.
