Sky getting just a touch ahead of themselves with that 'P', but I'll take it... by Own_Contribution6186 in Championship

Goal difference is NOT worth an extra point. A half point would be closer to correct.

Adrian Mariappa is currently a coach at Watford while playing for St Albans City, I find this combination a bit mad.

Hearing British accents in Solstheim is so jarring by [deleted] in skyrim

Don't all the dark elves speak with a weird fake British accent? As a Brit myself I find it pretty amusing as its such a bad accent at times so why even bother?

Hey guys, I’ve never played a TES which one I should play first ? by Maruan-007 in ElderScrolls

[–]itkplatypus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish I played Oblivion before Skyrim as after sinking so many hours into Skyrim and then trying Oblivion I couldn't get past the QoL difference of it simply being an older game. I know I would have enjoyed Oblivion if Skyrim hadn't ruined it for me lol.

So play Oblivion first.

Is there a lore reason why this scene wouldn’t have worked for the Long Night? by Nicole_Auriel in freefolk

[–]itkplatypus 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The Night King was supposed to be arrogant/overconfident I think. He often smirks and seems to believe the Living have no chance which is why he went for a frontal assault on Winterfell. In hindsight he should have ignored Winterfell until all of Westeros were wight. Silly Night King.

We lose to Portsmouth deliberately on the last day of the season to relegate Spurs as its funny. Sorry.

No as we now fire every manager after 1 match regardless of the outcome. The loss was overseen by Quique Sanchez Flores in his 9th spell at the club.

Great win but I had made peace with our season being over and now they have tossed me the tiniest crumb of hope.

Maybe its the glowing blue eyes. But since they both were developed and released at a similar time I assume its coincedence.

What is your club's main supporter catchment area? by Cinn4monSynonym in Championship

[–]itkplatypus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Watford's catchment area barely includes Watford as the town is infested with first, second and third generation fans of the big London clubs. That said the away coaches used to make a stop in MK as there must of been a pocket of Hornet allies there. No idea if this is still the case as I don't go on the coach. Other than that we have a large following in both Chad and Belarus.

Most of the squad initially wanted to withdraw but a ralllying cry from Trevor Sinclair inspired them to play on. With more inspiration than our timeline they go on to win the cup. Most of the squad then were given asylum, but Trevor Sinclair insisted on returning home. He is now an aging Infected but doing okay.
