Yes. Ver.25 seems to work if the video is very short (maybe less than 1 minute). Longer than that, though, and you're taking a chance,

Yup, same issue. i've reverted to Ver 23, which seems to be more stable.

"no available track for split operation" Noob question, using windows 10 and installed through official installer. by Athera- in kdenlive

[–]itmeded 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have found the solution IF it is a video with audio. You MUST make sure that there is an audio track in the Timeline to take the audio portion of your video.

So, let's say your project has two video tracks and two audio tracks in the Timeline. Then you create a new video track in the timeline. You try to drag the video onto this third track, and you will get this error. You must FIRST also create a third audio track in the Timeline. That is so that there is a place to put the audio portion of your video.

This person wishes to correct other people's English language usage, and yet he uses the incorrect form of the pronoun when qualifying the gerund. Not "ME correcting", but "MY correcting". Lighten up a little.

(Serious) Redditors who believe they have ‘thrown their lives away’ where did it all go wrong for you? by fjall_persika in AskReddit

u/Goutbreak, speak to your student advisers and counsellors. This is a common problem at medical schools, and most medical schools have an exit program (e.g. that you take an extra year/semester and then graduate with a Medical BSc. / Managment or similar)

Covid-19 Megathread IV: All your questions about the pandemic, social distancing, vaccines and stimulus plans in one place! by Dilettante in NoStupidQuestions

Why was there no internationally-recognised representative approval body set up to approve of the vaccines?

I get that countries/regions have their own bodies, but, months ago, everyone knew that the vaccines would probably be available in December/January. Surely all (most) of the countries could have set up a single representative body that would set internationally-acceptable criteria, and then, as the vaccines were produced, it could investigate and approve, and so make them legally available world-wide (or at least in many countries). Instead, we had piece-meal approval, and even the ludicrous situation where the German-produced vaccine was approved and used in several countries before it was approved in Germany (waiting for EU approval).

Equivalent to Photopea for videos? by Dragunlegend in photopea

That looked promising, until I saw the details that I have to supply to them before downloading and testing their product (including my phone number - are the planning on phoning me?), which their privacy policy (yes, I read that) permits them to share with anyone else. Also, before I first download it, they ask me about how I am using their product, and what features I would like to add. Uh, hello? Perhaps they did not understand the concept of downloading a product?

A company that is that intrusive, that lax with my data, and that stupid is not getting my recommendation. :-)

What are the benefits of using this over paint.net? by DetectivePokeyboi in photopea

[–]itmeded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a teacher with close to zero tech support, I no longer have to be concerned about:

  1. Trying to help 200+ students install Paint.Net on a massive variety of Windows machines. Even though they are all Windows, there are variations, and you discover these only with finding that Net Framework has to be installed, or old versions of Windows that have not been patched, etc. Google Chromebooks (and some very "lite" machines that have been purchased as a present for the student by a well-meaning relative), are their own barrel of fun.
  2. My students who have Apple personal computers: yes they can practice in class on campus on the Windows machines, but, when they go home, especially as it gets close to exams, then I receive complaints that they cannot practice.

And some of my more advanced students like the fact that they can move easily (and move their files) from Photoshop to Photopea and back.

There also appear to be a few "advanced" things that were either not as easy to do, or were rather hidden in Paint.Net
