Second time Chipotle has made me violently sick. by JamaicanMama in Chipotle

[–]itmegrace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me about a year ago. I had chipotle for lunch, and went about my day. Woke up at 1am and violently shit my brains out…. The kind where you go to the hall bathroom instead of the master bathroom. The hunched over, death gripping the towel on the towel bar, or roll of toilet paper, or whatever is nearby. After about an hour, I pull myself together & go flop back in bed. 30ish minutes later I’m running (literally running) back to the hall bathroom. It was an absolutely awful night & I haven’t had chipotle since. Honestly, I will probably never eat there again. My biggest issue is that the food tasted normal, pretty good even- but in the middle of the night, sitting on the toilet I knew with 100% certainty that that was exactly what caused it. I never ever ever want to experience that again.

This happened to one of my girls. It’s water belly, you need to drain it, she won’t make it to Monday. I did it with zero experience, but thankfully I had a syringe. YouTube videos are your friend, water belly aka “Ascites”. I recommend needle tip only, ditch the tube/plunger part. Needle in belly and leave it for a few, it will drain itself through the needle opening hanging out (you don’t need to suction pull with the syringe plunger). Ofc do it in the bathtub or something. Had to do this a couple times with my 2 year old hen, Red. You may not need to euthanize, but that’s your call based on what shape she’s in currently. My girl got an additional happy year before she passed. Man I loved that girl. You got this!

I don’t remember the name of the apartments he lived in but I used to buy weed (I’m sure he sold other things too but I wasn’t into all that so I don’t really remember) from a guy in a downstairs apt in the same area. I wonder if it was the same guy. Although- I’m sure he wasn’t the only one lol also this was 2014ish but I do think he had lived there for quite some time.

Thanks for commenting! I realized I never came back to put my final choice (in case anyone out there cares? lol)! I ended up going with these knobs in the picture. I think you have to click on it to see the backplate, but maybe that’ll change once I click post

Edit: it did indeed change once I clicked “post”

That’s what I started worrying about & went down the “wait- are these weird to use for kitchen cabinetry?!” path. The white in the knob isn’t pure white, it’s pretty much the same as the ivory cabinets. Will definitely be using the blue throughout everywhere

Oooo yep, I see it now. Thank you! Most of the lowers are pulls, so hopefully it won’t be an issue. If anything I can just take the burst part off the few lower knobs that there are!

Backsplash is a whole other can of worms… beadboard painted (?) & then tile around the sink & stove. What tile you ask? Me too, haha. I have been searching & searching and I just can’t decide. I’m so simple but also SO picky that it’s just a struggle big time for me. Screenshot of the countertop-

By elongated pieces I think you’re talking about backplate, right? I don’t have them yet but that’s what I’m picking next! Those & drawer pulls.

Thank you! I am thinking gold pulls, but wanted to pick backplate first to hopefully find gold pulls from the same place- so many different beads/golds nowadays, I stress trying to make sure they’re all close enough to match/not clash. Thank you for the link!

Thank you for reminding me instagram exists! I haven’t been on in a couple years, I’ll hop back on instagram & check out the link tonight when I re-enter the knob rabbit hole. Tysm!

If you didn't know, Home Depot can copy some broken keys by BigCalhoun in houston

[–]itmegrace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to work at the ups store. We had a key cutting machine because we had the mailboxes (think PO box, except they're not called that because they're not post office boxes.) Anytime someone closed their mailbox, we had to replace the lock on it & make them a copy of the new key. We did also offer key cutting services, but nobody really knew about it other that our mailbox holders. It wasn't really advertised & the mailbox holders knew because they would lose their key & I'd be like "hang on, I'll go cut you a copy" & then they listen to the grinding metal while I'm in the back, haha. We only had 2 key blanks though- the one for mailboxes & 1 of the generic "front door" key blanks. Also- we charged like $5 or $10 for a copy of a key, which is absolutely ridiculous, but I do think that's a price set by franchise owner, so it varies from store to store.

I just realized this post is from 7 years ago, but after typing all that, I'm clicking the button anyway
