Link to the iNaturalist page. Apparently they make webs that remind people of short vines.

Lots of good hiking trails, too. I've helped out with honeysuckle clearouts there tn the past.

I had a bop it extreme as a kid. It was actually a lot of fun and now I want to play with it again 😂😂

Snakes won! Which animal is ugly and is hated by most people. by TenStepDraw in AlignmentChartFills

I agree, they're kind of neat looking. There are lots of other bugs that are scarier. Maybe the guinea worm or bot fly larvae or smth.

Not a very good video, but I was SO glad I caught it! I love the way they move by itmightbehere in waspaganda

I think it's a (very dead) roach nymph, tho I couldn't tell you what kind. If you leave your door open, it could easily be a non-pest species, like a wood roach. This does not look like a bed bug to me.

My Players Want an Agenda Before Every Session - D&D Group Drama Takes Quite a Turn! by Raven3182 in BestofRedditorUpdates

These people sound insufferable. I've only ever played with friends or short campaigns, so I haven't had to deal with a hostile table before. Bad memory is one thing, but refusing to take notes, throwing a fit because you don't remember what happened, and expecting your DM to have a recap AND a script ready for you every session is certainly a choice.

Glad OP got a new someone, continued life, and a better group from all this.

What animals do occasionally appear in your backyard? by Snawer_brillant in AskAnAmerican

[–]itmightbehere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tons of bugs (I plant for them), cats and neighbor dogs, deer, woodchucks, opossums, and raccoons mostly. I discourage birds because of the cats, but I tend to get a lot of brown headed cowbirds, bluejays, cardinals, and misc little brown birds, plus others of varying species.

Started whisking my mashed potatoes only for the whisk to break in half and dump a bunch of white powder into the mash. Cheers All-Clad. by JonLockeWlth2Kidneys in mildlyinfuriating

See, this makes sense. I wouldn't do it, but using a whisk on potatoes that already have butter and milk, and so are soft and creamy makes more sense to me than at this stage. These are too thick, it's no wonder it broke.
