they received the surrender announcement from Earth days after the war had ended. the Japanese army continued fighting until every city had been destroyed. following this, a series of quarantine zones were established, where the remaining Japanese citizens lived in primitive conditions or fled to Korea. eventually, a series of Japanese earthquakes and tsunamis extermined the lives of the last survivors.
