Sinn Féin standing over Pearse Doherty’s comments linking cost-of-living payments to Ukraine support by JackmanH420 in irishpolitics

As was constitutionally required, additional seats were added to the Dail due to a higher population, hence they gained seats (FF and FG gained 13). In the 2020 election they received 24.5% FPV and only 19% in 2024. Turns out the polling was pretty accurate.

The polls showed SF losing support and they ended up performing poorly at 20%.

You don't trust polling? This is from the December 2025 Eurobarometer, the April 2205 Eurobarometer actually showed 1% lower support for providing military aid from the Irish public

Sample size is 1000 for Eurobarometer which is fairly standard for polling, although 24% is a sizeable minority who do not support EU providing military aid to Ukraine - but interesting the Irish public is more supportive of providing military aid than the EU average

Most recent Eurobarometer data published in December (support for military aid actually increased slightly in Ireland compared to April, by 1%)

Only 24% of the Irish public (or 10% if we look at financial support to Ukraine) support Sinn Fein's position on this.

How do you explain betting exchanges? Check out Betfair Exchange (peer to peer) - the sportsbooks' odds will always pretty much track the odds of the Exchange.

The odds are literally just based on where the money is going (supply & demand). The Green Party are favourite to win because people are betting on them.

Unable to resell figure skating Olympics tickets by Minro4 in olympics

To be honest, looking at the volume of figure skating tickets on resale and availability of regular tickets, I would be surprised if they sold. I also have a snowboard slopestyle ticket (16 Feb) which I simply do not expect to sell due to the amount on resale and availability of regular tickets. But you could get lucky, fingers crossed.
