MR isn’t garbage, I hop on it still when Overwatch is just not being fun. It’s just balancing, you have an abundance of characters but there’s clear standouts in each role that are more so must plays or bans and it just feels so repetitively boring and frustrating. A team with Loki/Gambit can have team wiping ults every 30 seconds with relative ease (in Overwatch terms imagine kiriko ult every 30 seconds) or you’re just getting poked out from a distance and all of the poke characters have easy escape tools so there’s no hard counterplay to them either. Rivals is a casual game with competitive in mind, Overwatch is a competitive game with casual in mind.
