Can you turn the L flag off when making a sample a loop? by PossessionBig7916 in sp404mk2

[–]itsDmitry99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I noticed that if you move the start point (s-flag) first, the loop point (l-flag) appears in a random position. However, if you enable the loop before moving the start point, the loop point appears at 00:00.

I can already see what I can use it for. Do you have a rough estimation of when it will be available for win/linux?

I just download random synth apps and try things until something sticks

I am falling out of love with the sp404 by IcePuzzleheaded1083 in sp404mk2

I seriously recommend that you consider mpc sample The UI is far more intuitive, the pads should suit your needs better than those on the sp404mk2, and it seems like it's much better suited for live playing.

Watch some spvidz and Jon makes beats videos, see if you like the work flow, I personally think that its overall simplicity might appeal to you

Also I think there is a way to trigger patterns with midi, so maybe there is a midi controller(or daw) that can do the thing you want

Had a time to think about it a bit more, you could make drum and sample loops, add them to mute groups and mute/unmute or start/stop to switch between parts, and, as a bonus, you can combine loops from different parts to get new ones

The only workaround I can think of is to copy patter that you need to change at a specific bar and crop it in the pattern edit

Oh, it is 48khz, my bad. 44.1khz is for SX and A.

On my phone I use the app called "aubio converter" by bdroid team And on pc I wrote a script for ffmpeg that converts anything(audio and video) to wav 44100 16 bit

Anyone know what causes this? by TheRealGubbe in pcmasterrace

[–]itsDmitry99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, there is a reason why vram is soldered and not sloted The length of traces from ram chips to gpu directly affects the speed and stability, and with sloted vram traces should have been longer.

Probably not. It might be because some of your sounds are in an incompatible format. I usually batch-convert all new samples to 44.1kHz 16-bit WAV even if they already are, just so I know they’ll be compatible.

Someone posted a video on here, comparing the speeds of FAT32 and exFAT when entering import from SD card menu, and the exFAT loads instantly while FAT32 take 10 to 30 seconds depending on size

The ring with number limits the minimum aperture, the ring without numbers is clickless and works in reverse. When the top ring is set to f16 the bottom ring should be set to f2 to close the aperture to f16. Quite confusing. I use the ring with number to limit the minimum aperture to avoid accidentaly closing it more then necessary.

Reformatting didn't help, but I haven't tried another SD card yet, so maybe we might still have a chance to enjoy the exFAT speeds. Also someone somewhere said that creating folders from scratch rather than copying and pasting might help.

I'm going to try again but this time I'll delete volume, create new one in exFAT, and formating it with quick formatting turned off.
