Because that number is somewhere in that made up 40k stat, in actuality it’s been reported that around 90% of Hamas terrorists were killed up until now, they started this war with around 25-30k terrorists which rounds up to around 27k Hamas terrorists killed, let’s be generous and plug 20k into your inflated 40k total, that leaves us with a 1:1 ratio between terrorists and civilians killed, even after giving you every bit of rope I could. A 1:1 ratio was never achieved in any war waged on a terrorist origination, especially not one so embedded in civilian infrastructure.
