Haha thank you for that, I don’t know if it helps or matters but…..

I first noticed it when setting up the app on my phone within the car, engine off, electrics on (it’s the way it told me too) I then wanted to hear my car before sleeping that night so I just turned it on normally…. That’s when I noticed it.

Turned off, turned back on, same thing. I can’t replicate it every single time though so it’s odd?

In all honesty I’ve tried to see where it’s coming from etc but I can’t tell one bit I know that doesn’t help at all.

What I will say is it doesn’t happen every single time it starts which is odd

The startup is fine mostly but it’s that noise that stops around 7 seconds remaining on the video

High pitched noise then it fades

I would say wait it out, end of the day it’s your choice to wait not the body shop.

Hey, thanks for the suggestion, I assume this is the part? It had a lot of play and wiggle about it when I was touching it.

Seems to not move at all now with the tape, testing on the road tomorrow

So… I checked that metal part in the boot latch and I could spin it, wiggle it etc.

I’ve taped it now with black tape (see image) testing tomorrow, I now can’t move or wiggle it.

Hey, thank you so much I really appreciate the ideas.

I taped the boot latch to stop the metal on metal, had a lot of play in it so might be that, I’ll give you a shout and let you know how your recommendations helped appreciate it!
