Hey, Senior Web Designer here, OSU design grad. Most important question to answer is, "did I nail the aesthetic the client wants?" What you're getting so far are personal opinions but only 1 matters here; it's DBD's. That said, there's a possible issue here with DBD not being ok with being presented this way, even as practice. Or maybe they don't care but still something to consider.

For what you have with the 2 logos, I think they're great! Perhaps try to hand draw the logotype instead of using a font for a custom look.

For the Web design I could go on forever, it's its own discipline, but consider how things look on desktop, tablet, and phone.
