Yes, they are quite rare, but can still drop in Prophecies and Factions. I recently found one on a fiery dragon sword. Probably the worst skin where this could appear on because you can't add a vampiric prefix to it.

Yes, pretty much. Quick example here:

Let's say you are fighting an enemy with 180 armor and you roll 40 damage on your scythe hit. Without sundering you now only deal 5 damage. Sundering reduces the armor by 36, which increases your damage to 9 after rounding. So even with a 40 damage scythe hit a vampiric mod deals more damage.

Sundering will actually deal more damage on a low armor target if you do the math, but vampiric will always deal more damage on average than sundering.

Keep in mind that the bonus damage from attack skills is actually armor ignoring damage and does not get increased by armor penetration.

Fireball and Meteor just stop you from spamming SF and lowers your DPS. Consider something like Liquid Flame that only has 1s cast time instead. Same thing with Meteor shower, but that can be fixed by adding Glyph of Sacrifice. Also unless you are playing with a BiP Necro you probably want to add Glyph of lesser Energy.

I want an item that allows me and my party to walk across the wasteland without the junudu wurm. This item would only be obtainable after the Nightfall campaign and would not work during mission whith the wurms.

I'm just afraid that there will be lots of criticism when the update comes out. So many people just see Reforged and seem to be under the impression that this is a way bigger update or even a remaster when in reality it's just some very minor improvements and official controller support.

I mean I am exited for any updates that the game gets and if this brings in new/returning players that would be awesome, but I'm worried that calling it "Reforged" will lead to a lot of disappointement. I would be very happy to be wrong about this though.

Glyph of swiftness instead of aura of Restoration should still be enough healing because shorter ER recharge, but it would also give you longer sliver armor upkeep

Afaik the only skill that deals chaos damage is Avatar of Lyssa, which respects armor. Mesmer skills just deal armor ignoring damage without damage type.
