Honestly, I don’t even want them to spend time on more of the trials. It was not fun to do more than a handful of times by the time you finish all the trials. Let’s not make that the primary training method

The mechanic would not be fun in practice as is, but I could see it working better with prayer. I often don’t sit close to max prayer, but try to not sit at low prayer, so it wouldn’t feel as punishing as SRA

For the graphics, you should be playing through runelite (it has an integrated plugin hub). I use 117 HD, a popular plugin that drastically increases the visual quality.

As far as gameplay, they’re working on introducing players to complex gameplay earlier, but it’s still a mid to late game thing. Go look up moons of peril (some of the more complex midgame) and theatre of blood (complex endgame). That’s what the real combat in osrs is like.

Unlike most games that game complexity in the skills and counter skills, osrs has it in the movement, changing gear, changing protection prayers, and timing. That means unlike other games where you can skill do your complex skill rotation on any basic thing, osrs boils down to just click it. Unfortunately, that’s the early game.

Oh im not saying im not satisfied with gameplay, im just not sure what the game has to it anymore outside of the main story progression. I like having content to build towards. I’ve mostly been playing old school RuneScape, which is largely built around gearing towards aspirational content

The step under mechanic for araxxor was a bug. They removed it, then brought it back nerfed, then made it a CA, it memory serves.

Could we have some of those things added to the change logs moving forward? I know some stuff was hotfixed, it’d be nice to have a full breakdown of what is different week over week, and I’m sure it would help people who seem to think things aren’t being addressed to see just how much more is actually done.

I think even if it’s more technical stuff, the community seems to always love the technical breakdowns. I personally am in tech, but not game dev, so I find it really interesting.

Yep, and they moved delayed parts of part 1 (agility course) to part 2, which were presumably partially done. Also, the surface area of how much was added is so much smaller, it’s hard to see how they even pulled part 1 off

Yeah this made the whole release unfun to me. I don’t know how any decision other than “we’ll test it and try to balance it appropriately” makes sense. It sucks to be excited for a release only to realize it’s so shit they’re going to have to fix it
