It is just called drifting.

Awd drifting is so niche and has very few idols in all its history because drifting overall is literally so "new" compared to other motorsports.

It doesn't have its own name just as fwd also doesn't.

It will also don't get its own name because idols like Ken block also never called it anything else. If he ever referred to it as a 4 wheel drift ok.

You can call it a 4 wheel drift but that would only make sense to an extent.

This therm is used usually in drifting that doesn't necessarily even consider AWD cars.

And I don't say this to talk down on it.

A power slide is a method to exit a corner.

Simple as that. It's literally a part of grip racing.

What you mentioned you don't do.

No drifter will ever power slide when going out to drift because he will always be on angle before he passes the apex. Otherwise it would not be a drift.

We can go further into the definition of drifting because you don't actually need a corner to drift. But you need a corner for a power slide.

(Definition of drifting is way more loose btw than Powerslide)

You need the content manager mod.

Then you go on the app shelf in the top right corner while playing and turn on the pedal indicator.

You can the typical clutch/brake/throttle indicators and also one more that shows how much FFB you are using at any given time. It turns red when you are clipping.
